In a relatively short amount of time, we have been inundated with news reports, emails and social media posts about this current global crisis. The rapidity at which this situation is moving and our response to it has affected every part of our lives. Times like this can create an enormous amount of fear and uncertainty. This is to be expected.
BUT we are Latinas.
Latinas hold families and our communities together.
We are resourceful because we have always had to be.
And we are smart, level-headed, and powerful.
I created Latinas & Power Symposium to be both educational and inspirational. I would ask that you employ the things you have learned at LPS to become a dependable resource and leader for your family, your business, and your community during this time. Be a calm voice of reason and a rallying point. Look beyond immediate concerns and visualize how you can successfully navigate these troubled waters financially, professionally, and personally. Most important: keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy.
#LPS2020 is currently scheduled for Friday, June 12.
